Team DMD Services:

  • Navigating a dental practice transition can be a difficult process, sometimes it takes over a year to complete. There are extremely critical agreements to streamline prior to the sell or purchase of a dental practice. It is in your best interest to have a qualified dental transitions company like Team DMD Consulting to guide you through the process to ensure a positive outcome.

Market knowledge and many years of the dental industry help make the process go smoothly, Deanna with Team DMD Consulting has just that. Through the appraisal, the lenders, the LOI, the agreement contracts, and the closing she is there to guide you throughout the transition. Maybe you want to stay on and work a few years, but maybe you want to retire right away, either way she can make it work.

Also, Deanna and her team know that confidentially is extremely important and they always have a NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreement) signed prior to the release of any information.

So many dentists wait until they are ready to walk out the door to sell. Again, this process takes time and it’s better to have an appraisal done at least two years prior to selling. There may also be Real Estate involved and if so, that will need working out as well. If you are looking to buy or sell a dental practice, please don’t hesitate to reach out…we are only a phone call or email away.

  • This process can take up to two weeks and it depends on getting all needed information and reports. Includes but not limited to a Dentametrix Workup, complete software reports from last 3 years (P&C, AR, Production Code, New Patient report, etc.), last 3 years taxes, individual photos of office and equipment, inventory and supplies list. The cost for the practice appraisal is 2,800.00.

  • Have you ever had a GAP analysis performed on your practice?

A GAP analysis is a method of assessing the performance of a business unit to determine whether business requirements or objectives are being met and, if not, what steps should be taken to meet them.

When performing a GAP analysis, Team DMD Consulting can determine what your dental practice needs to help meet your dental production by optimizing your schedule and your team’s efficiency. DID YOU KNOW? Losing one hour of hygiene per day over 210 days per year can cost the average practice 30K. Now, times that by 2,3,or 4. Also, losing one hour of dentist time can cost one average practitioner 144K per year. Team DMD Consulting advises you to go over your production numbers in morning huddle and discuss how each team member can improve case acceptance, patient care and overall production for that day, (Same Day Dentistry).

The “pass off’ of the patient to their next stop in your office must be a smooth understanding transition. It’s extremely important that all parties, (patient, team, parents?), understand the next visit and schedule it properly. Whether it be waiting on a pre-treat or not, they must understand the next visit and the importance of the need for the treatment.

These are just a few things Team DMD Consulting can help your team work on along with many other aspects of consulting. Including, but not limited to Standard Operating Procedures, OSHA/HIPAA Compliance, New Patient Case Acceptance, and New Patient Marketing.

  • Team DMD Consulting will be glad to partner with you in finding your most ideal location. Deanna works with her broker for the most positive outcome, Keller Williams Community Partners, out of Cumming, GA.
